If you miss your connection due to the delay of the previous train and if the railway company does not offer an alternative connection free of charge, you have the following rights against the ticket seller or against the tour operator:
- Reimbursement of the full ticket price
- a compensation of 75 % of the ticket price. The refund must be credited to your account within 30 days.
If the ticket seller or the tour operator informs you when you buy the ticket that the different sections are operated by different railway companies and that the sections are not contractually linked, you are not entitled to a refund of the fare for the whole journey. You can only claim compensation for the delayed train.
